Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 is Ashellica Fahie


Ashellica Fahie was crowned Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2023 in a glittering coronation show held on Sunday, August 20 at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium in Tortola.

The 28-year-old legal manager and business owner will now represent the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November. She succeeds last year's winner Lia Claxton.

Deyounce Lowenfield, 19, and Liliana Rhymer, 23, were the rest of the three finalists who competed for the coveted national title.

According to her bio for the pageant, the new Miss Universe British Virgin Islands' favorite color is pink and the person she admires most is her father. Her interests include financial literacy and mental health awareness.

The British Virgin Islands, a British overseas territory in the Caribbean, has yet to achieve its first placement at the Miss Universe pageant.

Agathe Cauet to represent France at the 72nd Miss World

Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Agathe will now prepare to represent France at the 72nd Miss World this May in India. She succeeds Clémence Botino who went to the 71st Miss World, also in India, and placed in the Top 40 among 112 contestants. Miss Global 2025 is Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van of Vietnam

Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van from Vietnam was crowned Miss Global 2025 on Sunday, March 9 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand. The 33-year-old model hailing from Lam Dong province bested over 60 other contestants to become the first Vietnamese representative to win the international beauty title. Keri-Ann Greenwood of Jamaica was named first runner-up while Ediris Rivera of Puerto Rico, Lindsay Lauren Becker of the USA, and Xena Ramos of the Philippines were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. SPOTLIGHT: Meet Hanna Kim, Miss Universe Korea 2022

Korea will be represented at the 71st Miss Universe pageant by Hanna Kim. The 27-year-old model currently based in New York City was appointed as Miss Universe Korea 2022 last April. She was the first runner-up during last year's national competition. Apart from modeling, Hanna is a linguist and interpreter, who specialized in clinical trials. She is also a skilled classical ballet dancer. "Words cannot describe how honored I am to be representing Korea at the 71st edition of Miss Universe," she shared on social media. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. After two weeks of pre-pageant activities, challenges, and preliminary evaluations, Miss Supranational 2023 is culminating tonight at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland.
