LIVE UPDATES: Miss South Africa 2023 Final Show Results


Miss South Africa 2023, the 65th edition of the Miss South Africa pageant culminates tonight at Time Square's SunBet Arena in Pretoria.

Hosted by South African award-winning television presenter, radio personality, actress, and social media personality Bonang Matheba, tonight's show features seven finalists vying for the highly coveted national title.

Talented South African performers Siki Jo-An, Jimmy Nevis, Brenda Mtambo, and Robot Boii will be the special guest performers for the much-awaited final broadcasting live on SABC 3 and streaming via Miss South Africa app from 6:30 local time.

An esteemed panel of judges consisting of reigning Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, actress, presenter, author and entrepreneur Leandie Du Randt, investigative television journalist Devi Sankaree Govender, international Emmy-nominated actress Thuso Mbedu, and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss will have the most difficult task of choosing the deserving winner.

The next Miss South Africa will have the opportunity to represent the "rainbow nation" at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador and/or Miss Supranational 2024 in Poland.

Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The semifinal round of Miss Polski 2024 (Miss Poland 2024) took place on Friday, April 26 at Hotel Kolumna Park in Przygoń. From 59 semifinalists, only 32 beauties (two from each region) have been selected to move on to the final competition to be held this July. The next Miss Polski, to be crowned by last year's titleholder  Angelika Jurkowianiec , is expected to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2024 and/or Miss Supranational 2025.
