Miss Thailand International 2023 kicks off in Bangkok, unveils new crown

Following the launch of Miss Thailand International 2023 under the new national director Pawina Bamrungrot, the competition officially kicked off on Monday, August 7.

A new crown "The Crown of Hope" was unveiled and the 22 contestants vying for the title were officially introduced at the Sarurai Hall, Iconsiam in Bangkok.

Adorned with diamonds and freshwater pearls, the new crown represents success, hope, and opportunities for women, in the lives of those around her and the rest of the world.

The event was also attended by former Miss International Thailand titleholders Sasi Sintawee (2015), Keeratiga Jaruratjamon (2018), and Ruechanok Meesang (2022).

"Dare to Change the World" is the theme of this year's national pageant whose winner will receive over a million baht and represent Thailand at Miss International 2023 in Tokyo, Japan this October.

To recall, the CEO of ERM Thailand Company Limited and a former beauty queen who placed in the Top 12 at Miss International 2023 was announced as the new Miss International license holder last March.
