Who will be Miss Universe Iceland 2023?


In a few hours, Ungfrú Ísland 2023, the national final for Miss Universe Iceland 2023 will take place at Gamla Bíó in Downtown Reykjavík. The upcoming show will be streaming live on Vísir from 8 p.m. local time.

Last year's winner, Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir, who competed at the 71st Miss Universe in New Orleans last January, will crown her successor among 18 finalists at the culmination of tonight's event.

Following their arrival at Hotel Múli in Reykjavík, the beauties officially received their sashes and prepared for their swimsuit preview and personal interview with the judges.

An esteemed international panel of industry experts consisting of Ross Walters, Michaela Abelgas Olson, Angela Hardin, Carrie Ann Mantha, Chloe Duke Parsons, and Eduardo Gutierrez will choose the next Miss Universe Iceland.

Aslihan Morali crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026

Aslihan Morali, from Ancaster, Ontario, was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2026 on Saturday, August 8 at the Chrysler Theatre in Windsor. The Turkish-Canadian advocate, entrepreneur, model and actor succeeds last year's winner Jaime VandenBerg and will represent Canada at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Puerto Rico this November. First runner-up Jabili Kandula was named Miss Cosmo Canada 2026 and will head to Vietnam for the Miss Cosmo 2026 competition later this year. Melissa Bottema was proclaimed the winner of Miss Netherlands 2026 (Miss Universe Netherlands) on Saturday, June 27 at Studio 21 in Hilversum. The 17th Miss Supranational beauty pageant was held on Friday, July 31 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. Katrina Llegado, a 28-year-old financial management graduate from the Philippines, was crowned Miss Supranational 2026 by her predecessor Eduarda Braum of Brazil.
