Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 is John Sotima


John Sotima was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2023 on Thursday, September 7 at Bayon TV Steung Meanchey Studio in Phnom Penh.

The 23-year-old beauty representing Kampong Cham bested over 30 other competitors to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this coming November.

Sai Fhon of Phnom Penh was announced as the first runner-up while Vannak Bormey of Svay Rieng, Channa Pisey of Battambang, and Kolianne Mailfait of Prey Veng were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Cambodia is no stranger to pageantry as she has already joined the national pageant in 2019 and placed second runner-up.

She was then named Miss Tourism Cambodia and went on to compete in Miss Tourism International 2019 in Malaysia where she was awarded the title Dreamgirl of the Year International.

72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piau铆, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, S茫o Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Com茅rio of Esp铆rito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piau铆. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City.
