Miss Universe Hungary 2023 is Tunde Blaga


Tunde Blaga was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2023 in a national competition held on Friday, September 29 at the Aurea Ana Palace Hotel in Budapest.

The 27-year-old model edged out 15 other contestants to win the national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Lilla Csasztvan and Nóra Kenéz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Liza Mihályfi bagged the Miss Congeniality award.

No stranger to pageantry, the new Miss Universe Hungary previously held the title Miss Earth Hungary 2019 and went on to participate in the 19th Miss Earth in the Philippines.

In 2021, she won the inaugural edition of the Miss Tourism Continental pageant in Beirut, Lebanon.

"Miss Universe Hungary is more than just luxury and beauty, it's a platform to raise awareness on women's values and represent women's empowerment," Tunde shared on social media.

"Today, in a world where diversity and acceptance are paramount, I believe that we can all contribute to change. No one is perfect, but that's what makes us unique," she added.

"Instead of trying to live up to some idealized standard of beauty, let's celebrate that everyone is different and unique."

Miss Botswana 2025 is Ruth Thomas from Masunga

Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Her predecessor who was crowned a year ago will head to the upcoming 72nd Miss World in Hyderabad, India this May. The new Miss World Botswana works as a beauty advisor and is also a model and poet. Katerina Delvina, 28, bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss World Singapore 2025 in a recently held national competition in Singapore. The biomedical research student, model, and passionate advocate for charity work will represent Singapore in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad, India. Arantxa, Tanisha Tan, Anurathi and Dhivvya were named the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss World Singapore was crowned by her predecessor Oh Wei Qi. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. A total of 24 beauties battled it out to win the opportunity to represent Nicaragua in the next Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Cosmo competitions. Karen Jansen to represent Belgium at the 72nd Miss World

Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India. Belgium has yet to win the Miss World crown since its first participation in 1969. The country's highest placement was in 1996 when Belgian model Laurence Borremans made the Top 10. Lucy Sophia Thomson bested 10 other finalists to be crowned Miss Scotland 2022 on Friday, July 29 at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. The 23-year-old beauty representing Fife from Dunfermline succeeds last year's winner Claudia Todd and will represent Scotland at the 71st Miss World pageant.
