Miss USA 2023 is Noelia Voigt of Utah


Noelia Voigt of Utah was crowned Miss USA 2023 on Friday, September 29 at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nevada.

The 23-year-old Venezuelan-American interior designer and author of "Maddie the BRAVE" succeeds Morgan Romano and will now prepare to represent the USA at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this November.

Savannah Gankiewicz of Hawaii was named first runner-up while Alexis Loomans of Wisconsin, Jasmine Daniels of Pennsylvania, and Lluvia Alzate of Texas were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

Apart from the opportunity to compete in Miss Universe, the new Miss USA will receive a lease at a highrise apartment in LA, a luxury vehicle courtesy of Porsche Downtown LA Motors, and a cash prize.

In her answer to the final question "As the brand ambassador for Miss USA, what will be your contribution to the organization?" Noelia replied: "I believe the ability to connect with people is an important asset that a Miss USA should have. The United States of America is an incredibly diverse country, probably one of the most diverse in the entire world. So, being able to connect with everybody is important."

She continued: "As a bilingual Venezuelan-American woman, I plan to connect with that community of people because the United States of America is a diverse country and a Miss USA needs to be able to represent every community no matter their background, their race, their ethnicity, anything. And I would like to be that Miss USA."

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn.
