Miss World Slovenia 2023 is Alida Tomanič


Alida Tomanič was crowned Miss Slovenije 2023 (Miss World Slovenia 2023) in a national competition held on Thursday, September 21 in Radlje ob Dravi.

The 19-year-old architecture student from Ptuj bested 11 other finalists to win the national title. She is now expected to represent Slovenia at Miss World 2024.

Her predecessor, last year's winner Vida Milivojša will go to the 72nd Miss World (Miss World 2023) in New Delhi, India this December.

Aleksandra Matan was named first runner-up while Tijana Bektašević finished as the second runner-up.

Pika Kenda, Nika Šalamon, Nada Hejja, and Ines Marjetič were awarded Miss Slovenian News, Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic, and Miss Congeniality, respectively.

The coronation ball for The Miss Philippines 2026 took place on Sunday, May 10, at the Grand Ballroom in City of Dreams Manila. Nadia Mejia-Webb crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025

Nadia Mejia-Webb, representing Comunidad USA, was crowned Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 26 at Palacio de Cristal in Guayaquil. The 29-year-old model and singer will now prepare to represent Ecuador at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Daphne Currat of Tungurahua and Christie Termidor of Región Sierra were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Christiane Marques of Guayaquil and Mariola Vejarano of Guayas rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Reigning Miss Universe Victoria Kjær Theilvig of Denmark was a special guest at the pageant. Danielle Latimer beat over 30 other contestants to win Miss Universe Great Britain 2025 on Saturday, July 26 at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, Wales. After 17 years, former Miss France Sylvie Tellier has officially announced her departure from the Miss France organization. The 44-year-old took to social media on Wednesday, August 31 to make a public statement on her decision to leave, which was made "with a lot of emotion because you don't leave a company after 17 years without memories in your head." Patthama Jitsawat, representing the Thai province of Chonburi, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2026 on Saturday, March 28 at MGI Hall in Bangkok. The 32-year-old beauty edged out 76 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner Sarunrat Puagpipat of Phuket.
