Joel Farach Marquina to represent Peru at Mister International 2023 in Thailand


Joel Farach Marquina was named Mister International Peru 2023 last May and will soon represent his country in the upcoming Mister International 2023 pageant.

The 33-year-old from Callao is a professional model and economist specializing in finance and evaluation of investment projects.

Besides modeling, he holds a diploma in maritime, port, and fisheries management from Escuela Nacional de Marina Mercante (ENAMM).

In addition, he is also a graduate of business finance from Cámara de Comercio de Lima (CCL) and a specialization course in financial modeling of investment projects from the Universidad del Pacífico.

To recall, Joel is no stranger to pageantry as he has participated in the Men Universe Model 2014 competition held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic where he finished in the Top 5.

He now succeeds last year's titleholder Eleazar Moreno (Mister International 2022 Top 16 semifinalist) and will soon depart for the 15th Mister International whose final is set for September 17 in Bangkok, Thailand.

On the road to the international pageant, the new Mister International Peru not only aspires to showcase outer beauty but also create a positive impact on others. He recently joined a noble project that seeks to bring food and hope to the families at the Valle de Jesús settlement in Lurin.

Here's where to watch Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition

The Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition and national costume show will take place tonight at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Contestants from 127 countries and territories will each present themselves in their swimsuits, evening gowns, and national costumes. Tonight's show, to be hosted by reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios and former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, will start at 8 p.m. local time. The crucial event will help the  selection committee determine who will advance to the Top 30 to be announced during this Saturday's final show. Miss Universe Denmark 2024 is Victoria Kjær Theilvig

Victoria Kjær Theilvig has been officially announced by the Miss Denmark Organization as Miss Universe Denmark 2024. The 20-year-old passionate dancer living in Copenhagen was part of the jury at the Miss Denmark 2024 final on Sunday at Cirkusbygningen. She will represent Denmark at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Her predecessor was last year's Miss Denmark (Miss Universe Denmark 2023), Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, who competed in Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. The spectacular Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition and national costume show was held last night at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Hosted by reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel, the important event kicked off with the contestants parading in their colorful and stunning national costumes. Victoria Kjær Theilvig has been officially announced as Miss Grand International Denmark 2022 and she will soon travel to Indonesia for the 10th Miss Grand International pageant. The 18-year-old former elite dancer from Søborg is a woman with great ambitions. She has already completed high school, where she studied marketing and economics, and is now taking a gap year, where she works full-time with her own company. South Africa's Mia le Roux withdraws from Miss Universe 2024

The Miss South Africa Organization has just announced that the reigning Miss South Africa Mia le Roux has withdrawn from Miss Universe 2024. In an official statement, the organization wrote, "It is with deep regret that we share the news that Mia le Roux, Miss South Africa 2024, has had to withdraw from the Miss Universe competition due to health concerns." According to Mia, "Making this decision has been incredibly challenging, knowing the dreams and hopes that have been placed upon me." "I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to focus on my health and recovery so that I may continue to serve my country with full strength," she added.
