Miss Grand Bonaire 2023 is Ruby Pouchet


Bonaire, an island municipality of the Netherlands off Venezuela's coast in the southern Caribbean, is set to debut at this year's Miss Grand International pageant with newly announced Miss Grand Bonaire 2023 Ruby Pouchet.

The 27-year-old nature conservationist was crowned Miss Bonaire 2022 at the Courtyard by Marriott Bonaire Dive Resort in Kralendijk last December.

In her latest post on social media today, Ruby shared she is beyond honored to be the first-ever representative of Bonaire on the prestigious stage.

"Join me as we make memories on this journey together. See you soon Vietnam," she added.

The highly anticipated Miss Grand International 2023 will take place this coming October in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Miss Botswana 2025 is Ruth Thomas from Masunga

Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Her predecessor who was crowned a year ago will head to the upcoming 72nd Miss World in Hyderabad, India this May. The new Miss World Botswana works as a beauty advisor and is also a model and poet. Former Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais and Miss France 2023 first runner-up Agathe Cauet was announced on Monday, March 10 as Miss World France 2025. The 26-year-old former nurse was first runner-up to Miss France 2023 Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe at the national pageant in Châteauroux. Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India. Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat.
