Madeleine Malmberg to represent Norway at Miss International 2023


Miss Norway 2023 (Miss Universe Norway 2023) fourth runner-up Madeleine Malmberg has been officially appointed as Miss International Norway 2023.

The 19-year-old high school student from Fredrikstad is now preparing to compete in Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. She succeeds last year's titleholder, Romée Dahlen.

Apart from her studies, Madeleine is also a model, aspiring actress, and children's rights advocate.

Her advocacy is focused on education especially for underprivileged children as she believes it will help them from becoming potential victims of human trafficking.

"An enlightened younger generation will be better equipped to recognize dangers, stand up for themselves and others, and resist the temptations that could lead them into a perilous world," written on her official website.

Norway has won the Japan-based Miss International pageant twice with former model Catherine Gude in 1988 and actress Anne Lena Hansen in 1995.

Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Helena Bleicher bested over 20 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Germany 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 15 at the Holiday Inn Düsseldorf - Neuss. The 24-year-old aspiring teacher and an advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare will represent Germany at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador.
