Catriona Gray's wax figure moves to Madame Tussauds Hong Kong


Fresh from her trip to Thailand for the Institution of HIV Research and Innovation Thailand (IHRI), former Miss Universe Catriona Gray went to visit her wax figure at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong.

Launched last year in Singapore, it has now moved to Hong Kong and joined other Filipino pride Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and one of the greatest professional boxers of all time Manny "Pacman" Pacquaio.

To recall, it was the first and only Filipino wax figure to be featured in Madame Tussauds Singapore. Its official launch was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is wearing a copy of the iconic Mayon volcano-inspired lava gown created by Filipino fashion designer Mak Tumang and a Philippines sash for Miss Universe 2018 which was held in Bangkok.

"My twin is turning out to be a world traveler (just like me) with her second stop: HONG KONG," Catriona shared on social media.

"I just want to give a big, special shout out to the MT HK team, who had to adjust the event to a day earlier due to the typhoon that arrived on Sept 1. And also to the fans who adjusted too and traveled all the way to be a part of the event. Some even flew into HK."

72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
