Miss Earth Myanmar 2023 is Soung Hnin San


Soung Hnin San was crowned Miss Earth Myanmar 2023 on Saturday, October 14 at the Royal Mei Hua Function Hall in Yangon.

The 18-year-old beauty hailing from Muse, Shan State bested 19 other contestants from across the country to win the glittering national competition.

She succeeded Linn Htet Htet Kyaw (Miss Earth Myanmar 2021) and will now prepare to represent Myanmar at the Miss Earth 2023 pageant in Vietnam this coming December.

Myanmar made its Miss Earth debut in 2014 with Ei Mon Khine in the Philippines. Its highest placement was in the Top 8 with Amara Shune Lei during the Miss Earth 2020 virtual edition.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn.
