Miss Normandie 2023 is Wissem Morel for Miss France 2024


Wissem Morel was crowned Miss Normandie 2023 in a regional competition held on Saturday, October 28 at the Caen Exhibition Centre in Calvados.

The 21-year-old biology student bested 10 other competitors to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner Perrine Prunier and will represent the northern French region of Normandy at Miss France 2024 this December.

Erine Maloney was named first runner-up while Ines Lelyon, Anne Claire Taton, and Estelle Mendy, were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

A total of 11 contestants took part in this year's competition.

"The night was short but I am filled with joy and gratitude, I have to thank my family, friends, the organization, the staff, the jury members, and you the public without whom all this would not have been possible," the new Miss Normandie shared online.

"Next December I will wear the Normandy sash with pride and determination. A huge thank you to everyone, I'm looking forward to traveling the four corners of Normandy and meeting you all," she added.

The 94th Miss France will be held at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon. Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. 72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. The 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Cavite became the second Filipina to win the international pageant next to Teresita Ssen Marquez who won in 2017. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Philippines Earth Yllana Marie Aduana will represent the municipality of Siniloan, Laguna, at the upcoming Miss Universe Philippines 2025 pageant.
