Miss World America 2023 is Victoria DiSorbo of Tennessee
Victoria DiSorbo was crowned Miss World America 2023 in a national competition held on Thursday, October 5 at the Meydenbauer Center Theatre in Bellevue, Washington.
The 25-year-old representing the state of Tennessee will now prepare to compete on behalf of the United States of America at Miss World 2023 in India this December. She succeeds Shree Saini, Miss World America 2020 who placed first runner-up at the 70th Miss World.
Athenna Crosby of Utah, Jade Lin Glab of the District of Columbia, Nkechi Okorie of Minnesota, and María Cepero Jimenez of Connecticut were the first, second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
The rest of the Top 10 finalists were Jeevisha Shukla of Kentucky, Sophia Ortiz of Texas, Samantha Vocatura of Vermont, Alondra de la Torre of Washington, and Leikyn Bravo of Wisconsin.
Natalie De Ferrari of the East Coast, Jocelyn Torres of Florida, Clarissa Ren of Maryland, Carolina Cooney of Massachusetts, Monica Aguilar of Nevada, Victoria Ababio of New Jersey, Ashley Wells of New York, Khadesia Walker of the Northeast, Dhruvi Patel of Rhode Island, and Kailey Wadsworth of South Carolina were the Top 20 semifinalists.
The new Miss World America is of Italian-American descent hailing from South Florida. She is an entrepreneur, author, and advocate for cystic fibrosis. No stranger to pageantry, she previously won the title of Miss Florida Teen USA and went on to compete in Miss Teen USA 2017 in Phoenix, Arizona.
