LIVE UPDATES: Miss International 2023 Final Competition Results


Miss International 2023, the 61st Miss International pageant is happening tonight at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.

Seventy beautiful, intelligent, and accomplished young women from different countries and territories around the world will battle it out to win the highly coveted international crown.

Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event.

The distinguished panel of judges who will decide tonight's winner consists of Roberto Seminario, Ryohei Miyata, Junko Koshino, Norika Fujiwara, Supapan Pichaironarongsongkram, Laurie Simpson (Miss International 1987), Soujitsu Kobori, Senko Ikenobo, and Akemi Shimomura.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida.
