Australia's Moraya Wilson reveals her national costume for Miss Universe 2023


Miss Universe Australia 2023 Moraya Wilson officially revealed her national costume for the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

The beauty queen from Melbourne will be wearing a costume designed and crafted by Australian fashion designer Emma Daley.

Inspired by the incredible and unique native wildflowers of Australia, the national costume adorned with colorful details will be showcased by Moraya at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador this coming November.

"This collection of flowers represents each state and territory and the magical connections to the Australian land, telling stories of cultural, historical and spiritual significance," posted on the official Miss Universe Australia social media page.

"Using colors symbolizing the land, sea, sun, and people, each flower is individually screen printed on raw silk organza appliquéd with sequins and feathers."

"In awe of this gown [Emma Daley] you are so incredibly talented and creative. I’m so proud to be wearing this as my national costume at [Miss Universe] in less than a month," Moraya also shared on her page.
