Miss World 2023 final postponed to March 2024


Miss World national directors were recently informed via email that the 71st Miss World (Miss World 2023) final has been moved to March 2024. No reason was given.

According to several news outlets, the decision to change the dates for the competition from December 2023 was due to the upcoming elections in the host country.

Over 100 contestants are expected to arrive in New Delhi, India on February 3 for a month-long activities leading to the final on March 2.

The Miss World Organization (MWO) has yet to make an official announcement confirming the new schedules. Considering some changes made previously, we can't be sure if the dates will change again.

The MWO had earlier announced the competition to take place in Dubai in May before it was shifted for unknown reasons to India for later this year.

Miss Connecticut USA 2025 is Jenna Hofmann

Miss Fairfield USA Jenna Hofmann was crowned Miss Connecticut USA 2025 on Sunday, January 26 at the Marriott Hartford Windsor Airport in Windsor, Connecticut. The 23-year-old real estate professional, originally from New York, will now prepare to represent Connecticut at the Miss USA 2025 pageant. She succeeds last year's winner Shavana Clarke. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Miss Grand International announces new fifth runner-up, braces amid controversies

Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up. Makaʻala Perry is the newly appointed Miss International Hawaii 2023 and will represent the Aloha State at Miss International 2023 in Japan this October. The 24-year-old flight attendant, business owner, and musician was announced as Priscilla Wang's successor for the national title last month. Besides working for Hawaiian Airlines and running her own business called Sunbeams Creamery, a dessert shop located in Wahiawa, she is also pursuing her bachelor of arts degree in music at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Miss Central Ohio, Mackenzie Schutt was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2023 in a state competition held on Saturday, May 20 at The Vern Riffe Center for the Arts in Portsmouth. The 27-year-old model and personal trainer from Columbus holds a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Calvin University (formerly Calvin College) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mackenzie joined the pageant several times before finally winning the title. She succeeds last year's winner and Miss USA 2022 third runner-up Sir'Quora Carroll, and will now represent the state of Ohio at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada this fall.
