Russia's Margarita Golubeva unveils her national costume for Miss Universe 2023

Miss Universe Russia 2023 Margarita Golubeva officially unveiled her national costume for Miss Universe 2023 in a press conference held on Tuesday, October 21 at Tass News Agency in Moscow.

Her national costume was inspired by the Tsarevna Swan (The Swan Princess), a 1900 oil painting by the Russian artist Mikhail Vrubel based on the opera The Tale of Tsar Sultan by Rimsky-Korsakov.

The beautiful costume that Margarita will showcase in the upcoming Miss Universe competition was brought to life by the St. Petersburg-based talented fashion designer Malyarova Olga.

As for her final gown, she shared: "We decided to keep the dress for the final outfit a secret to preserve the intrigue until the final stage of the competition."

"I thank everyone who attended the conference both in person and online. See you soon in El Salvador."

Margarita will compete with more than 80 other contestants in the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe competition in San Salvador on November 18.
