OPINION: Miss Universe 2023 best of the final night

The 72nd Miss Universe competition culminated in the magical El Salvador in the weekend and we still can't get over how spectacular the show was.

From the stage, production, contestants, guest performers, and distinguished judges, to the energy of the crowded Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda, everything was flawless.

The host country delivered its promise — it was undoubtedly one of the best editions of the annual Miss Universe pageant in recent years.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. 72nd Miss World final date and host country announced

The Miss World organization has officially announced the final date and host country of the 72nd Miss World competition. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe. Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Miss Lancashire, Jessica Ashley Gagen from Skelmersdale bested 27 other finalists to be crowned Miss England 2022 on Monday, October 17 at the Holiday Inn Birmingham Airport. The 27-year-old model and aerospace engineering student at the University of Liverpool became the first redhead beauty to ever win the title in pageant history. The highly anticipated official presentation of the 24 contestants vying for Miss Venezuela 2022 took place on Saturday, November 10 in Caracas. Hosted by "Súper Sábado Sensacional" presenter Henrys Silva, the special show aired on Venevisión with simultaneous live streaming on missvenezuela.tv . Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Jane Baesen and Astrid Lafaut were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Axana Carmoy and Kiana Verstraete were the other runners-up.
