Miss France 2024 is Eve Gilles of Nord-Pas-de-Calais
Eve Gilles, representing Nord-Pas-de-Calais, was crowned Miss France 2024 in a glittering competition held on Saturday, December 16 at the Zénith de Dijon in Dijon.
The 20-year-old model and student edged out 29 other competitors to win the national title. She succeeds Indira Ampiot of Guadeloupe and will now have the chance to represent France at the Miss Universe and Miss World pageants.
Audrey Ho-Wen-Tsaï of Guyane was named first runner-up while Adélina Blanc of Provence, Jalylane Maës of Guadeloupe, and Maxime Teissier of Languedoc were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Completing the Top 15 were Wissem Morel of Normandie, Ravahere Silloux of Tahiti, Elena Faliez of Île-de-France, Clémence Ménard of Pays de la Loire, Luna Lacharme of Bourgogne, Élise Aquilina of Roussillon, Karla Bchir of Côte d'Azur, Emmy Gisclon of Centre-Val de Loire, Sandra Bak of Corse, and Nadine Benaboud of Midi-Pyrénées.
The new Miss France hails from Quaëdypre, a village near Dunkirk in the Nord department. She is currently pursuing her studies in mathematics and computer science at the University of Lille.
Eve became the fourth woman from Nord-Pas-de-Calais to win Miss France. Due to her pixie haircut, she was also cited by the French media as the first woman with short hair to hold the title.
