Miss Earth 2023: Meet the contestants from Europe
Twenty-seven of the 86 contestants currently vying for Miss Earth 2023 in Vietnam came from the region of Europe.
Returning countries this year include Armenia, Denmark, Germany and Ukraine.
After winning the inaugural Miss Earth competition in 2001 with Denmark's Catharina Svensson, the region managed to achieve two more victories — Bosnia and Herzegovina's Dzejla Glavovic in 2002 (dethroned) and Czech Republic's Tereza Fajksova in 2012.
Europe's last placement in the Top 4 was in 2020 with Michala Rubinstein of Denmark who bagged the Miss Earth - Fire title.
With the largest number of participants coming from this region, will there be another European winner this year?
