Miss Grand Thailand 2024 is Malin Chara-anan of Phuket


Malin Chara-anan, representing Phuket, was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2024 in a glittering event held on Saturday, April 6 at MGI Hall in Bangkok.

The 27-year-old beauty triumphed over 70 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October.

Kanyaphatsaphon Rungrueang of Pathum Thani was named first runner-up while Kittiyaporn Fungmee of Chumphon, Thansita Dilhokananskul of Lampang, and Aoratai Phangchan of Maha Sarakham were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The contestants from Bangkok, Yuwaporn Songngam; Chai Nat, Phoraphak Worasophonphakdee; Phichit, Piyarada Wayuwech; Sakon Nakhon, Napapat Rungroj; Saraburi, Suntaree Uan-inth; and Satun, Emma Martini were announced as fifth runners-up.

This year's competition, hosted by Matthew Deane, was the 11th edition of the Miss Grand Thailand pageant. Thaweeporn Phingchamrat of Chumphon crowned her successor at the end of the event.

Rashmita Rasindran of Malaysia was crowned Miss Charm 2024 on Saturday, December 21 at the Nguyen Du Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The 24-year-old model and social activist from Kuala Lumpur bested over 30 other contestants to win the international title. She succeeds last year's winner Luma Russo of Brazil. Alana Deutsher-Moore of Australia and Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga of Vietnam were first and second runners, respectively. Miss Universe Ukraine 2022 Viktoria Apanasenko finally revealed her symbolic national costume for the 71st Miss Universe pageant. The "Warrior of Light" costume symbolizes her nation's fight against the darkness, like an archangel Michael with a sword protecting Ukraine. It was completed in four months of extreme conditions, to the sound of sirens, without electricity, and by candlelight.
