Miss Louisiana USA 2024 is Sydney Taylor of Lafayette
Sydney Taylor, the representative of Lafayette, was crowned Miss Louisiana USA 2024 in a glittering competition on Saturday, March 30 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie.
The 22-year-old former Miss Teen Louisiana USA and Miss Teen USA 2020 fourth runner-up will head to California to compete for Miss USA 2024 this summer.
"My heart is so full of gratitude and I’m so thankful for this journey that God has placed in front of me," Sydney posted on social media.
"I can't even express the amount of gratitude I feel to have the chance to represent Louisiana at Miss USA and to spread love across the state for a whole year."
The new Miss Louisiana USA succeeds last year's winner, news anchor Sylvia Masters.
