Miss Universe Germany 2024 is Pia Theissen


Pia Theissen was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2024 on Sunday, April 28 at Living Hotel de Medici in Düsseldorf.

The 25-year-old social worker, occupational therapist and yoga teacher from Cologne will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico later this year.

Annabelle Keller and Ilke Filiz were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Angelina Matic, Jennifer Monreal, and Tatjana Genrich rounded out the Top 6 finalists.

Miss Universe Netherlands' national director Milou Verhoeks, reigning Miss Denmark Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen, and former Miss Universe Germany Soraya Kohlmann were among the judges.

The new Miss Universe Germany succeeds last year's winner Helena Bleicher, who participated in Miss Universe 2023 last November in El Salvador.

Pia is multilingual, fluent in English, German, and Spanish. Over the past 3 years, she has traveled to more than 24 countries, making Spain, Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, and the USA her temporary home.

Her journey began in the field of occupational therapy, where she focused on supporting the well-being, health, and relationships of children both at school and at home.

As a yoga teacher, Pia empowers women to find confidence, balance, and inner strength. She firmly believes that every woman possesses the inherent power to overcome past hardships and conquer the challenges of life. Through love and mindfulness, she guides women to believe in themselves and manifest their dreams.

Currently, Pia is immersing herself in the world of music to become a DJ, while also honing her Spanish skills at a university in Latin America.

Philippines' Alexie Caimoso Brooks crowned Miss Eco International 2025

Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Eco International bested over 30 other contestants to succeed last year's winner Angelina Usanova from Ukraine. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Former Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholder Anna Valencia Lakrini was crowned Miss Supranational Germany 2025 at the recently held Queens of Germany 2025 pageant in Berlin. The 27-year-old Filipino-German, born in Stuttgart, will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. No stranger to pageantry, Anna was previously crowned Binibining Pilipinas Globe (The Miss Globe Philippines) at Binibining Pilipinas 2023 while representing the province of Bataan. Miss Supranational Spain 2025 is Luna Negrín of Madrid

Luna Negrín, repesenting Madrid, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2025 during the Miss RNB España 2025 final gala held on Saturday, April 12 at the Teatre Auditori Salou (TAS). The 21-year-old journalism student will represent Spain at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. She succeeds last year's winner Elizabeth Laker. Originally from Arona in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Luna was raised in Premià de Mar in Barcelona. She is pursuing a degree in journalism at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Universe Iceland) on Thursday, April 3 at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavik. The 20-year-old beauty from Viðey bested 19 other contestants to win the national title. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík. The 19-year-old beauty received the crown from her predecessor Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir who made the Top 4 at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant in the Philippines. Ivana Batchelor was crowned Miss Universe Guatemala 2022 on Friday, June 3 at the Centro Cultural Miguel Ángel Asturias in Guatemala City. The 21-year-old professional model is a native of Quetzaltenango. She is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in social communication and enjoys dancing flamenco.
