Miss Universe Australia 2024: Meet the finalists from Victoria


Seven more national finalists have been selected for Miss Universe Australia 2024 from the southeast Australian state of Victoria.

The state final for Victoria was held on Friday, April 5 at Bar Bambi in Melbourne, Australia.

At the end of the event, Elizabeth Kalash, Laetitia Greco, Alana Deutsher-Moore, Octavia Beck, Alysia Salley, Renee Mourad, and Amy Lee earned their coveted spots as national finalists.

Along with previously selected finalists from Western Australia and New South Wales, they will head to the Miss Universe Australia 2024 final as representatives of Victoria this August.

The next Miss Universe Australia will have the opportunity to represent the land down under at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico later this year.

Nigeria's Samuel Nwajagu wins Mister International 2024

Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. Nguyen Man Lan of Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Anthony Henricus of the Netherlands, Justine Carl Ong of the Philippines (fan vote winner), and Rafael Dominguez of Spain rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. The semifinal round of Miss Polski 2024 (Miss Poland 2024) took place on Friday, April 26 at Hotel Kolumna Park in Przygoń. From 59 semifinalists, only 32 beauties (two from each region) have been selected to move on to the final competition to be held this July. The next Miss Polski, to be crowned by last year's titleholder  Angelika Jurkowianiec , is expected to represent Poland at Miss Universe 2024 and/or Miss Supranational 2025. The 23-year-old entrepreneur from Amsterdam edged out nine other finalists to win the national title.
