Thailand's Kevin Dasom wins Manhunt International 2024
Kevin Dasom from Thailand was proclaimed the 22nd Manhunt International on Sunday, May 26 at Ayutthaya City Park in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand.
The 32-year-old Thai-Irish model and basketball player from Chiang Mai triumphed over 36 other contestants to become the first-ever Manhunt International winner from Thailand.
Lucas Schlachter from France was named first runner-up while the representatives from the Philippines, Kenneth Stromsnes, Venezuela, Victor Battista, and Italy, Vincenzo Melisi were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
Completing the Top 10 and also runners-up were from Spain, Daniel Lorente, Canada, Matt Dixon, Switzerland, Marcel Ignacio Riera, Brazil, Ruan Mendes, and South Africa, Luke Vann.
The Top 20 were from Angola, Felipe Salvador Maria, Australia, Tim Gamlin, Costa Rica, Roberto Mena, Dominican Republic, Starlyn Terrero, Hong Kong, Song Yunye.
Also in the semifinals were from Indonesia, Stefan Yogi, Lebanon, Abed Semaan, Netherlands, Ilyas Chaouki, Nicaragua, Jeril Vado, and Sierra Leone, Sahr Fatoma.
Former winners, Peter Eriksen from Sweden, June Macasaet from the Philippines, and Truong Ngoc Tinh from Vietnam were among the judges of the competition.
The new Manhunt International succeeds Lochlan "Lochie" Carey, the 21st edition winner all the way from Australia.
Before winning his international title, Kevin became Manhunt Thailand 2023 in a national competition held in Bangkok last August.
He is no stranger to pageantry, being a former Mister Supranational Thailand who participated in Mister Supranational 2018 and placed third runner-up.
