Miss Grand Indonesia 2024 is Nova Liana from South Sumatra


Nova Liana was crowned Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia 2024 (Miss Grand Indonesia 2024) on Sunday, May 19 at Istora Senayan in Jakarta.

The 23-year-old beauty from Palembang, South Sumatra bested more than 40 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Indonesia at Miss Grand International 2024 in Myanmar this October.

Stevanie Tawana Sheldrick of Riau Islands placed second and was awarded the title of Miss Elite Indonesia 2024. She is expected to compete in Miss Elite 2024 in Egypt.

The rest of the runners-up were Olivia Stevanie of DKI Jakarta 7, Yulinar Fitriani of West Java, Olla Levina of DKI Jakarta 2, and Anindya Gupita Prabandari of DI Yogyakarta.

They received the titles Miss Aura Indonesia 2024, Miss Eco Indonesia 2025, Miss Planet Indonesia 2024, and World Top Model Indonesia 2024, respectively, and will go to the next Miss Aura International, Miss Eco International, Miss Planet International, and World Top Model competitions.

This year's edition of the annual Miss Mega Bintang Indonesia pageant was attended by reigning Miss Grand International Luciana Fuster from Peru with MGI COO from Thailand, Teresa Chaivisut.

Former Miss Grand International and the first MGI winner from Indonesia, Ariska Putri Pertiwi, was also present at the glittering event.

The new Miss Grand Indonesia succeeds last year's winner Ritassya Wellgreat who placed in the Top 10 and fifth runner-up at Miss Grand International 2023 which was held in Vietnam.

Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Dia Maté of the Philippines was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana 2025 on Sunday, February 9 at the Salón Sirionó, Fexpocruz in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. Miss Universe Hungary 2021 is Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth

Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
