Miss Oregon USA 2024 is Shayla Montgomery


Former Miss Oregon Teen USA, Shayla Montgomery, was crowned Miss Oregon USA 2024 on Saturday, May 4 at the Sherwood Center for the Arts in Sherwood, Oregon.

The 22-year-old registered nurse, representing Portland, will now prepare to represent the "Beaver State" at Miss USA 2024 this August in Hollywood, California.

She succeeds last year's winner, physicist and aspiring astronaut Manju Bangalore.

No stranger to pageantry, Shayla previously won Miss Oregon Teen USA 2020 and went on to participate in Miss Teen USA 2020 in Memphis, Tennessee where she placed as first runner-up.

Jutta Pokuah Addo, representing the Central Region, was crowned Miss Ghana 2025 (Miss World Ghana) on Saturday, March 29 at the Avenue Event Center in Accra. The 20-year-old law student bested 12 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Ghana at the Miss World 2025 competition in Telangana, India this May. Issha Rose Mata, representing the town of Hilo, bested 16 other contestants to win Miss Hawaii USA 2025 on Saturday, March 22 at Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. The 29-year-old model and digital marketing specialist was crowned by last year's winner and Miss USA 2024 Top 10 finalist Breea Yamat. Mikaela Bega of Maui was named first runner-up while Kristi Van Diver-Kometani of Kakaako, Alexia Locquiao Sommers of Kahala, and Faith Alvior of Valley Isle were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Jasmine Omay has been appointed as Universal Woman Philippines 2025 and was officially crowned in a special ceremony held on Tuesday, March 25 in Quezon City. The 27-year-old events host, model and pilot from Tarlac will represent the Philippines at the Universal Woman 2025 pageant in Jaipur, India this June. According to MWO, this year's competition will last 28 days, from May 4 to May 31 in India. It will be held at various destinations in Telangana, a state with a rich legacy and modern vibe.
