Miss Earth 2023 Drita Ziri arrives in the Philippines


Reigning Miss Earth Drita Ziri touched down in the Philippines on Thursday, May 2 for her first official visit since winning Miss Earth 2023 last December in Vietnam.

The Albanian beauty will be joined by her elemental court Cora Bliault from Thailand, Do Thi Lan Anh from Vietnam, and Yllana Marie Aduana of the Philippines.

According to the Miss Earth organization, they will be in the Philippines until May 12 to take part in the promotion of heritage and eco-tourism of the country.

The queens will have a media conference on May 7 at Brittany Hotel in Villar City, Cavite, and will be gracing the Miss Philippines Earth 2024 grand coronation on May 11 in Talakag, Bukidnon.

Philippines' Alexie Caimoso Brooks crowned Miss Eco International 2025

Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. The new Miss Eco International bested over 30 other contestants to succeed last year's winner Angelina Usanova from Ukraine. She also bagged the Best in National Costume award. Former Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholder Anna Valencia Lakrini was crowned Miss Supranational Germany 2025 at the recently held Queens of Germany 2025 pageant in Berlin. The 27-year-old Filipino-German, born in Stuttgart, will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Luna Negrín, repesenting Madrid, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2025 during the Miss RNB España 2025 final gala held on Saturday, April 12 at the Teatre Auditori Salou (TAS). The 21-year-old journalism student will represent Spain at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. She succeeds last year's winner Elizabeth Laker. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík. The 19-year-old beauty received the crown from her predecessor Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir who made the Top 4 at the Miss Earth 2024 pageant in the Philippines.
