Miss International Guatemala 2024 is Helen Morales


Helen Morales was crowned Miss International Guatemala 2024 during the Miss Guatemala 2024 final on Wednesday, May 1 at Teatro Dick Smith in Guatemala City.

The 26-year-old representative of Izabal succeeds last year's titleholder María Ranee Díaz. She will travel to Tokyo, Japan for Miss International 2024 in November.

Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio from Venezuela was among the special guests at the glittering national competition.

Guatemala first and last won the Miss International pageant 40 years ago, in 1984 with Ilma Urrutia.

The country's last placement was in 1993 when Diana Lucrecia Galván Flores made it to the Top 10.

Over 20 beauties have already been confirmed as representatives of their respective countries and territories for the 71st Miss World edition. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Helena Bleicher bested over 20 other competitors to be crowned Miss Universe Germany 2023 in a national competition held on Saturday, July 15 at the Holiday Inn Düsseldorf - Neuss. The 24-year-old aspiring teacher and an advocate for environmental conservation and animal welfare will represent Germany at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. Miss Grand Philippines Roberta Tamondong has been officially announced by the MGI organization as the new Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up.
