Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios arrives in the Philippines


From Bangkok, Thailand, the reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua continues her Asia Tour in the Philippines.

Wearing a fuchsia one-shoulder dress, the beauty queen arrived on Wednesday, May 1 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 via Philippine Airlines.

This is Sheynnis' first official visit to the Philippines since she was crowned the 72nd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2023) last November in El Salvador.

She will remain in the country until Tuesday, May 7 to participate in various activities with the Miss Universe Philippines organization.

Miss Botswana 2025 is Ruth Thomas from Masunga

Ruth Thomas was crowned Miss Botswana 2025 (Miss World Bostwana) on Saturday, March 22 at The Grand Palm Hotel Casino Convention Resort in Gaborone. The 24-year-old clothing and textile design graduate from the village of Masunga bested nine other finalists to win the national title. She succeeds last year's winner Anicia Gaothusi from Tutume and is expected to represent Botswana at the 73rd Miss World competition. Katerina Delvina, 28, bested nine other finalists to be crowned Miss World Singapore 2025 in a recently held national competition in Singapore. The biomedical research student, model, and passionate advocate for charity work will represent Singapore in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition in Hyderabad, India. Four new queens have been crowned at the culmination of the Bellezas Globales de Nicaragua 2025 pageant held on Sunday, March 23 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua. Reigning Miss Belgium Karen Jansen, 23, has been officially announced as Belgium's representative in the upcoming Miss World 2025 competition. The psychology student and freelance model from the province of Limburg was recently crowned Miss Belgium 2025 last month in De Panne. Karen will compete with over 100 contestants from around the world to become the next Miss World this May in Hyderabad, India.
