FAVORITES: Miss Universe Philippines 2024 FINAL 12 favorites

In less than 24 hours, the new Miss Universe Philippines will be crowned at the much-awaited coronation night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The preliminary competition for Miss Universe Philippines 2024, which took place on Sunday, May 19 at the Fiesta Pavilion in Manila Hotel, helped us identify the true standout among the contestants.

Reigning Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Universe 2023 Top 10 finalist Michelle Marquez Dee hosted the event with Filipino actor Marco Gumabao.

More than 50 empowered Filipinas from across the country and Filipino communities abroad strutted on stage in their swimsuits and evening gowns.

Aside from the main crown, the Miss Universe Philippines organization has also announced that four more national titles are up for grabs in this year's competition.

But, who will represent the Philippines at Miss Universe 2024?

Plus-sized Sara Milliken crowned Miss Alabama for National American Miss 2024

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. After enduring bullying upon her return at the age of 16, she decided to take a break from joining for 7 years. However, this year, she mustered up the courage to give the crown another shot. Nigeria's Samuel Nwajagu wins Mister International 2024

Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. Nguyen Man Lan of Vietnam and Glenn Victor Sutanto were announced as the first and second runners-up, respectively. Anthony Henricus of the Netherlands, Justine Carl Ong of the Philippines (fan vote winner), and Rafael Dominguez of Spain rounded out the Top 6 finalists. The Mister International pageant, a celebrated event in the world of male beauty, was established in 2006 in Singapore by Alan Sim, its original president and founder. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Tonight, the much-awaited culmination of the Miss Universe 2024 pageant will broadcast live from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. For the past two weeks, equally beautiful and empowered beauties from 125 countries and territories have been busy filming, touring, and preparing for the upcoming final show.
