Miss Alaska USA 2024 is Brenna Schaake


Brenna Schaake was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2024 on Saturday, June 1 at the University of Alaska Anchorage's Wendy Williamson Auditorium.

The 29-year-old from Fairbanks will now prepare to represent Alaska at the Miss USA 2024 competition this August in Hollywood, California. She succeeds last year's winner Jordan Naylor.

Miss Eagle River, Amanda Lademann, and Miss Juneau, Honour Miller-Austin were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Nevaeh James, a 16-year-old student athlete at East Anchorage High School clinched the Miss Alaska Teen USA 2024. She will also travel to California in the summer for Miss Teen USA 2024.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Amadea Zupan was crowned Miss Slovenia 2024 (Miss World Slovenia) in a national competition held on Friday, January 10 in Lendava. The 26-year-old medical student at the University of Ljubljana beat 12 other contestants to win the title. She received the crown from her predecessor Alida Tomanič. Katja Zver was named first runner-up while Neja Prosenjak finished as second runner-up and also bagged the Miss Personality award. Angélique Angarni-Filopon from Martinique beat 29 other contestants to win Miss France 2025 on Saturday, December 14 at the Futuroscope Arena in Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The 34-year-old flight attendant became the oldest winner of the prestigious national pageant. She also made history as the first woman from Martinique to become Miss France. Samuel Nwajagu of Nigeria was proclaimed the grand winner of the Mister International 2024 pageant on Saturday, December 14 in Bangkok, Thailand. Aside from the international title, the 23-year-old model also bagged the Best in Swimsuit award. He succeeds last year's winner from Thailand, Kim Goodburn. Singaporean lawyer Madeleine Poh was crowned Mrs. Petite Global 2025 in an international pageant held on January 9 at Shantanand Auditorium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
