Miss California USA 2024 is Samantha Ramos


Miss Santa Monica, Samantha Ramos was crowned Miss California USA 2024 on Sunday, June 23 at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in Garden Grove.

The Mexican-American mentor, model, and restaurant franchisee from Fullerton will now prepare to represent California at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

"I am Miss California USA 2024. Grinning ear to ear, I accomplished a goal I set after almost 10 years ago. From being a non-finalist teen to 1st runner up at Miss CA Teen USA, to 2nd runner up at Miss CA to finally getting the crown," Samantha shared online.

"Pageantry has taught me that resilience and tenacity are the key to achieving extraordinary things in life. Thank you to every one of you that has been apart of this journey," she added.

The new Miss California USA succeeds Tianna Clark, last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20 semifinalist.

Philippines' Alexie Caimoso Brooks crowned Miss Eco International 2025

Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholder Anna Valencia Lakrini was crowned Miss Supranational Germany 2025 at the recently held Queens of Germany 2025 pageant in Berlin. The 27-year-old Filipino-German, born in Stuttgart, will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Luna Negrín, repesenting Madrid, was crowned Miss Supranational Spain 2025 during the Miss RNB España 2025 final gala held on Saturday, April 12 at the Teatre Auditori Salou (TAS). The 21-year-old journalism student will represent Spain at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. She succeeds last year's winner Elizabeth Laker.
