Miss District of Columbia USA 2024 is Kleo Torres


Miss Nation's Capital, Kleo Torres, was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA 2024 on Saturday, June 29 at the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C.

The 26-year-old former track and field athlete will be representing the District of Columbia at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

Kleo succeeds political science graduate Cassie Baloue, last year's winner who placed in the Top 20 at Miss USA 2023 in Reno, Nevada.

The new Miss District of Columbia USA holds a bachelor's degree in science from Alabama State University. She also completed her master's in public administration from the American University School of Public Affairs.

The title of Miss District of Columbia Teen USA 2024 went to Miss Bloomingdale, Chelsea Chambers. She will proceed to compete in Miss Teen USA 2024, also in California this summer.

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Miss Golden Corner, Gracen Grainger was crowned Miss South Carolina USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 15 at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center. The 23-year-old model from Hamer succeeds Kirby Elizabeth Self, last year's winner and Miss USA 2023 Top 20 semifinalist. Gracen is a former Miss South Carolina Teen USA (2020). South Africa's Fezile Mkhize wins Mister Supranational 2024

Fezile Mkhize from South Africa was proclaimed Mister Supranational 2024 on Thursday, July 4 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. The 33-year-old medical doctor and television presenter hailing from Port Shepstone in KwaZulu Natal bested 35 other competitors to win the coveted international title for the first time for South Africa. He succeeds Iván Álvarez Guedes, last year's winner from Spain. Casey De Vries of the Netherlands was named first runner-up while Brandon Espiritu of the Philippines, Marcos De Freitas of Venezuela, and Sanonh Maniphonh were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.
