Miss Iowa USA 2024 is McKenzie Ariana Kerry


Miss Capital City, McKenzie Ariana Kerry was crowned Miss Iowa USA 2024 on Sunday, June 23 at the Ames Center in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The 25-year-old, who holds a degree in marketing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, succeeds last year's winner Grace Lynn Keller.

McKenzie will now prepare to represent the "Hawkeye State" at the Miss USA 2024 pageant in Hollywood, California this August.

"All the glory to God. I'm overwhelmed with gratitude to announce that I am your Miss Iowa USA 2024," she wrote online.

"To every single person who poured into me along this three-year journey - every message, hug, prayer, pep talk, letter - I hope I've made you proud," she added.

The new Miss Iowa USA also left a message to her home state. She said, "To Iowa - It's the honor of a lifetime to represent you and I promise to share the beauty of our state at every opportunity."

Miss Universe Brazil 2025 is Maria Gabriela Lacerda

Maria Gabriela Lacerda, representing the state of Piauí, was crowned Miss Universe Brazil 2025 on Thursday, February 13 in Alphaville, São Paulo. The 22-year-old journalist bested 23 other contestants to win the beauty title. She received her crown from Brazil's first Miss Universe winner, Miss Universe 1963 Ieda Maria Vargas. Aline Fritsch of Rio Grande do Sul and Ana Carolina Ceolin Comério of Espírito Santo were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "This crown is ours, my Piauí. Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title.
