Miss Universe Colombia 2024 is Daniela Toloza from Valle


Daniela Toloza Rocha was crowned Miss Universe Colombia 2024 on Sunday, June 2 at Centro de convenciones Puerta de Oro in Barranquilla.

The 30-year-old, representing the department of Valle del Cauca, beat 29 other contestants to win the national title. She succeeds Camila Avella, last year's winner and Miss Universe 2023 Top 5 finalist.

Huila's María Alejandra Salazar placed second and was named "virreina" while the contestants from Barranquilla, Kimberly Hooker, and Risaralda, Leidy Yuliana Gómez were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Mariana Zuleta of Antioquia, Leicy Rivas of Chocó, María Clara Cañavera of Córdoba and Yoselin Riascos of Tumaco were the Top 8 finalist.

Rounding out the Top 16 were Bolívar, Kelly Reales, Buenaventura, Luisa María López, Cali, Manuela Castaño, Cartagena, Kaina Andrea, Casanare, Estefani Ariza, Cesar, Natalia Santiago, Medellín, Valentina Pérez Burgos, and Nariño, Angela Chamorro.

The new Miss Universe Colombia will represent her country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico later this year.

"This reign is for all. We are going to represent Colombia in Miss Universe with all the responsibility, pride and love," Daniela shared after winning her national crown.

Reigning Miss Universe from Nicaragua Sheynnis Palacios graced the event as special guest while former Miss Universe from Venezuela Bárbara Palacios was one of the judges.

Emma Heyst to represent Denmark at the 72nd Miss World

Reigning Miss Denmark Emma Heyst has been officially announced by the Miss Denmark Organization as Miss World Denmark 2025. The 22-year-old was crowned Miss Denmark 2024 in September last year in Copenhagen. She will now prepare to represent Denmark at Miss World 2025 in India this coming May. According to the national pageant organization, Emma is future sociology student, philanthropist, model and sports enthusiast who has been involved in humanitarian work for years. Inspired by her own mother, she is deeply committed to her work with the organization Lykkeliga, which provides an inclusive and safe community for children with developmental disabilities. Miss Supranational Brazil 2025 is Eduarda Braum of Espírito Santo

Eduarda Braum was crowned Miss Supranational Brazil 2025 on Friday, April 4 at Hotel Sibara in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina. The 25-year-old model and influencer, representing Espírito Santo, will represent Brazil at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Maria Gasparotto of Guanabara and Cassia Adriane of Pará were announced the first and second runners-up, respectively. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík. Helena Hafþórsdóttir O'Connor was crowned Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Universe Iceland) on Thursday, April 3 at Gamla Bíó in Reykjavik. China officially crowned two national queens for Miss Universe in one year. Two separate national events were held this year. Xinying Zhu from Anhui province was recently crowned Miss Universe China following an intense one-week competition in Zhangjiajie. The 18-year-old vocational student majoring to become a flight attendant at Suzhou Aviation Vocational College is expected to represent China at Miss Universe 2026. She was crowned by her predecessor, Xue Hou, who won the national title in Sanya last July. Xue will head to the Miss Universe 2025 pageant. Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November.
