Miss Cosmo 2024 officially launched in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
MISS COSMO 2024 –“THE INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY PAGEANT – FESTIVALS” IS OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED WITH OVER 70 PARTICIPATING NATIONS
Miss Cosmo 2024, the inaugural edition, recently hosted a press conference to reveal the launch of the pageant and its exciting activities in Ho Chi Minh City and other popular tourist spots in Vietnam.
Reigning Miss Cosmo South Africa (Mbali Dlamini), Miss Cosmo Malaysia (Saranya Naidu), Miss Cosmo Philippines (Ahtisa Manalo), Miss Cosmo Indonesia (Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari), and Miss Cosmo Vietnam (Bui Xuan Hanh) were special guests at the event.
Over 70 territories and nations worldwide are participating in Miss Cosmo 2024, with representatives arriving in Vietnam in mid-September 2024 for various activities, including a festival showcasing fashion, heritage, and cultural exchanges from the North to the South of Vietnam. The semi-finals and finals of the pageant are scheduled for early October 2024.
Under the theme "IMPACTFUL BEAUTY," Miss Cosmo aims to recognize women who positively impact society through their beauty, intelligence, and determination, addressing global issues and promoting development. These women are empowered to implement action plans alongside the Miss Cosmo Organization.
In terms of criteria, Mr. Tran Viet Bao Hoang, CEO of Miss Cosmo and Head of the Organizing Committee (OC), said: "The Miss Cosmo winner is an exceptionally outstanding woman for us. Not only do we celebrate women’s distinct and unique beauty, but we also desire the ones with resilience who comprehend how to leverage their authority and voice to accomplish things through a pioneering mindset and their unflinching devotion to every action. Those are all major criteria for us in deciding on the winner."
The winner of Miss Cosmo will serve as a bridge, connecting women globally and fostering a progressive community. Through action plans, they will lead in comprehensive development, emphasizing the importance of building connections and solidarity. Miss Cosmo is committed to promoting a more progressive lifestyle for global society.
During the press conference, the Miss Cosmo Organization introduced the official theme of Miss Cosmo 2024 as "Vivid Vietnam," featuring festivals spanning from the North to the South of Vietnam.
Miss Cosmo 2024 emphasizes the message of green and sustainable living. Its goal is to showcase Vietnam's unique beauty, including its culture, tourism, and people. The event aims to connect and enhance Vietnam's image through the enthusiastic participation of countries and global audiences.
