Miss International Australia 2024 is Selina McCloskey


Selina McCloskey was crowned Miss International Australia 2024 in a special ceremony held on Saturday, July 13 Sir Stamford Circular Quay in Sydney.

The 23-year-old model from Eleebana, New South Wales succeeds last year's titleholder Jazel Alarca and will represent Australia at Miss International 2024 in Tokyo, Japan this November.

"Words can't explain this feeling. Being appointed to my dream job, Miss International Australia, is a surreal moment I'll never forget. To be able to represent my country with such pride is a true honour, knowing my younger self would be so proud," she wrote online.

"This title is more than just a sash and a crown, but rather an opportunity for self-development and a platform to ignite my voice," she added.

"I'm excited that my passion for women empowerment, has the capacity to be showcased on a greater platform through my campaign, 'Her Voice, Our Future.' Look forward to involving and sharing this journey with you all."

The new Miss International Australia is a graduate of business as well as innovation and entrepreneurship from the University of Newcastle.

No stranger to pageantry, Selina was third runner-up at Miss World Australia 2022 and finished the same placement at Miss Grand Australia 2023.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Alabama USA 2024 is Diane Westhoven

Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Miss Venezuela 2024, the 71st Miss Venezuela pageant, was held on Thursday, December 5 at Espacio Caracas. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year.
