Miss New York USA 2024 is Marizza Delgado


Marizza Delgado was crowned Miss New York USA 2024 in a state competition on Sunday, June 30 at the Hilton Albany in New York. She succeeds last year's winner Rachelle Di Stasio.

The 25-year-old Filipino-American fashion model, engineer and advocate for women in STEM will now represent the "Empire State" at Miss USA 2024 in Los Angeles, California this August.

No stranger to pageantry, Marizza is a former Miss Pacific Coast Teen USA and Miss New York Earth USA. She placed in the Top 20 at Miss Earth USA 2021.

The new Miss New York USA was born and raised in San Jose, California. Both of her parents were immigrants from the Philippines. She moved to the Big Apple to become a model and a data scientist.

For Miss Teen USA 2024, New York will be represented by the newly crowned Miss New York Teen USA 2024 Valarie Goorahoo. The national final will also be held in California this summer.

Miss Universe 2025: Thailand to host the 74th Miss Universe pageant

Thailand has been officially announced as the host country for the Miss Universe 2025 competition. The Miss Universe Organization unveiled the ultimate destination for the 74th Miss Universe pageant at a press conference in New York City. Before the exciting announcement, several countries were mentioned as possible hosts including Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Spain, South Africa, Nigeria, and the Philippines. The Miss America 2025 final competition will be held this Sunday, January 5 at The Walt Disney Theater of the Dr. Phillips Center for Performing Arts in Orlando, Florida. Miss Universe is now owned by Thai billionaire Anne Jakrajutatip

Chief Executive Officer of JKN Global Group Public Company Limited, Anne Jakrajutatip, has now been confirmed as the new owner of the Miss Universe Organization. The Thai transgender businesswoman, also known as Anne JKN, made the announcement of full ownership of MUO on social media with the caption "Yes, I own it all, I am the sole owner, and finally, the universe is ours." This update also just confirmed the recent rumor that a billionaire from Thailand was interested in buying Miss Universe after the news broke out it was allegedly being sold by the previous owner IMG for $20 million. Ines Radoncic, who recently completed a BA in International Business and Finance at the International University of Sarajevo, was named Miss Earth Bosnia and Herzegovina 2021. Andrijana Nina Delibašić, a law student and a professional model, clinched the Miss Earth Montenegro 2021 title. Miss Universe Hungary 2021 is Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth

Jázmin Viktória Elizabeth was crowned Miss Universe Hungary 2021 in a special event held at Gigi's Budapest on Saturday, November 6. The 20-year-old model and student from Budapest bested 13 other beauties to win her national title. She will now prepare to represent Hungary at the 70th Miss Universe pageant in Eilat, Israel this December. Edina Maronka and Nina Tobias were the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I’m beyond blessed and honored that I will represent Hungary," the new Miss Universe Hungary shared on her social media account. "Everything happened so fast so it’ll definitely take time for me to process what happened," she added. Karen Jansen, representing the Dutch province of Limburg, was crowned Miss Belgium 2025 on Saturday, February 15 in De Panne. The 23-year-old psychology student and freelance model from Lommel bested more than 30 other contestants to win the national competition. She succeeds last year's winner, Kenza Ameloot. Jane Baesen and Astrid Lafaut were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Axana Carmoy and Kiana Verstraete were the other runners-up. The new Miss Belgium is now expected to represent "The Land of Waffles and Fries" at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant in Thailand this November.
