Miss Utah USA 2024 is Alyssa Chandler


Miss Timpanogos, Alyssa Chandler, was crowned Miss Utah USA 2024 on Saturday, July 6 at Jeanné Wagner Theatre of the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center in Salt Lake City.

She succeeds Mariluz Cook, last year's first runner-up who took over the state title after Noelia Voigt was crowned Miss USA last September in Reno, Nevada.

Alyssa beat 19 other contestants to become the 73rd Miss Utah USA and will now prepare to represent the "Beehive State" at Miss USA 2024 in Los Angeles, California this August.

Miss Universe Ukraine 2024 is Alina Ponomarenko

Alina Ponomarenko has been officially revealed as Miss Universe Ukraine 2024 on Thursday, July 18 following rounds of selection process online. The 20-year-old model from Odessa will represent Ukraine at the 73rd Miss Universe (Miss Universe 2024) in Mexico later this year. She succeeds Angelina Usanova , last year's titleholder who won the Miss Eco International 2024 pageant in Cairo, Egypt last April. The new Miss Universe Ukraine is a graduate of international justice and law from the National University Odesa Law Academy. No stranger to pageantry, she won Miss Odessa 2023 and went on to participate in the Miss Supertalent competition in South Korea where she made the Top 10. Mame Fama Gaye was crowned Miss Senegal 2024 (Miss World Senegal 2024) during the national competition held last Friday, July 12 at the Grand Theatre National De Dakar. The 24-year-old model from Fatick will represent at the 72nd Miss World next year. She succeeds Fatou L'eau, Senegal's representative during the 71st Miss World in Mumbai, India last March. Fatou Guèye, 23, from Louga, was named first runner-up and will head to Mexico for Miss Universe 2024 this November. She will be the first Miss Universe Senegal in over three decades. Senegal, a country in West Africa, debuted at Miss Universe 1974 and its last participation was during Miss Universe 1987. Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2024 following a spectacular competition held on Sunday, July 14 at the MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Bangkapi in Bangkok.
