Miss World Hungary 2024 is Andrea Katzenbach


Andrea Katzenbach was crowned Miss World Hungary 2024 in a glittering national competition held last Sunday, June 23 in Budapest.

The 23-year-old marketing coordinator from Kiskőrös edged out 14 other contestants to win the title. She succeeds last year's winner Boglárka Hacsi and will represent her country at the 72nd Miss World.

Jázmin Cseh from Dunakes and Alexandra Horváth from Mezőörs were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Kamilla Kiss and Rebeka Dalma Szivos rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

"I experienced one of the most beautiful moments of my life yesterday. I did not yet realize that I was the chosen one to represent Hungary in 2024 at the Miss World competition," the new Miss World Hungary shared online.

"It is a great honor and I will try with all my strength to do my best in the future and represent the country with dignity. Thank you to everyone who has believed in me and supported me, I am extremely happy," she added.

Colombia's Diana Moreno was crowned The Miss Globe 2024 in a glittering competition held on Tuesday, October 15 at the Tirana Olympic Park in Albania. The 27-year-old international business professional bested over 40 competitors to win the global title. She made history as the first Colombian woman to become The Miss Globe. A total of 75 beauties from different countries and territories are expected to compete for the coveted international beauty title. Shereen Ahmed was recently crowned Miss Universe Bahrain 2024 and will compete in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. The 29-year-old Bahraini-Filipino beauty succeeds last year's winner Lujane Yacoub. She is the fourth woman to represent Bahrain at Miss Universe. USA's Janelis Leyba was crowned Miss Asia Pacific International 2024 on Monday, October 7 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City, Philippines.
