Krystyna Pyszková arrives in Manila for Miss World Philippines 2024


Reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszková touched down in the Philippines on Tuesday, July 16 for her first visit to the country since winning the 71st Miss World last March in Mumbai, India.

Accompanied by Miss World's Julia Morley, the beauty queen from the Czech Republic will be a special guest in the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2024 final show.

A press conference was held for the international guests the following day, Wednesday, July 17 at the Grand Westside Hotel in Parañaque City. The current Mr World Philippines Kirk Bondad also attended the event.

"I'm really happy to be a part of the coronation night in the Philippines this Friday. I can't wait to witness the beauty and grace of the contestants. It's going to be an unforgettable experience," said the reigning Miss World.

The grand coronation night of the Miss World Philippines 2024 pageant will take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena this Friday, July 19. Gwendolyne Fourniol will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Philippines' Alexie Caimoso Brooks crowned Miss Eco International 2025

Alexie Caimoso Brooks from the Philippines was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 on Saturday, April 19 at the Hilton Alexandria Green Plaza in Egypt. The 24-year-old athlete and model from the province of Iloilo became the third Filipina to win the international pageant next to Cynthia Thomalla (2018) and Kathleen Paton (2022). Yulinar Fitrani of Indonesia was named first runner-up while Yelyzaveta Adamska of Ukraine, Cynthia Murillo of the USA, and Victoria Repollo Inglis of the United Kingdom finished second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively. Former Binibining Pilipinas Globe titleholder Anna Valencia Lakrini was crowned Miss Supranational Germany 2025 at the recently held Queens of Germany 2025 pageant in Berlin. The 27-year-old Filipino-German, born in Stuttgart, will now prepare to represent Germany at Miss Supranational 2025 in Poland this June. Former Miss Universe Iceland Sóldís Vala Ívarsdóttir was officially proclaimed Miss Earth Iceland 2025 during the recently held Ungfrú Ísland 2025 (Miss Iceland) pageant in Reykjavík.
