Meet the winners of Miss Senegal 2024


Mame Fama Gaye was crowned Miss Senegal 2024 (Miss World Senegal 2024) during the national competition held last Friday, July 12 at the Grand Theatre National De Dakar.

The 24-year-old model from Fatick will represent at the 72nd Miss World next year. She succeeds Fatou L'eau, Senegal's representative during the 71st Miss World in Mumbai, India last March.

Fatou Guèye, 23, from Louga, was named first runner-up and will head to Mexico for Miss Universe 2024 this November. She will be the first Miss Universe Senegal in over three decades.

Senegal, a country in West Africa, debuted at Miss Universe 1974 and its last participation was during Miss Universe 1987.

The second runner-up, 23-year-old Mayram Ly from Dakar, has been appointed the first-ever Miss Cosmo Senegal and will participate in Miss Cosmo 2024 in Vietnam this October.

Plus-sized Sara Milliken crowned Miss Alabama for National American Miss 2024

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. "This is a dream that has been 8 years in the making for me," said the new National American Miss Alabama who first joined the state pageant when she was 15 years old. Miss Universe 2024: Meet the contestants

Miss Universe 2024, the 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held in Mexico later this year. The country known for its rich culture, ancient ruins, dazzling beaches, and incredible cuisine has been chosen to host the competition for the fifth time after 1978, 1989, 1993, and 2007. Sixty-one (61) national winners have been crowned up to this point and are all set to compete in this year's highly anticipated beauty pageant. Mrs. American 2024 is Heidi Stephens from Washington

Washington's Heidi Stephens was crowned Mrs. American 2024 on Tuesday, August 27 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino. The 37-year-old certified emergency nurse and a mother of two bested over 40 other contestants from across the country to win the national title. Christina Joymon of Colorado was named first runner-up while Stacie Proctor of Utah finished as the second runner-up. Georgia's Caroline Kiernan, North Carolina's Madeline Stewart, and Tennessee's Corrin Stellakis Hein rounded out the Top 6 finalists. Miss Denmark 2024 is Emma Heyst from Sæby

Emma Heyst was crowned Miss Denmark 2024 in a glittering national competition on Sunday, September 1 at the Cirkusbygningen in Copenhagen. The 21-year-old animal welfare advocate and salesperson from Sæby, Jutland succeeds last year's winner Nikoline Uhrenholt Hansen. Sophie Wagner and Sofie Ørn Andersen were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. Sofie Langballe Jensen and Simran Kholi rounded out the Top 5 finalists. The new Miss Denmark is expected to represent her country in a major international pageant in 2025. Emma is currently taking a sabbatical and working as a full-time salesperson in Ilva. In her spare time, she enjoys quality moments with her family and friends. Miss Universe Australia 2024 is Zoe Creed from Brisbane

Creed was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 5 at the grand ballroom of the Crown Perth in Burswood. The 23-year-old model from Brisbane edged out 27 other competitors to win the title. She is the first national winner from Queensland since Jesinta Campbell in 2010. Laetitia Greco and Renèe Mourad were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Bronte Rose Dagg and Jennifer Crown were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. The Top 10 were Sarah Said-Smith, Jess Davis, Alana Deutsher-Moore, Ally Draper, and Tahlia Jones. Davin Prasath was crowned Miss Universe Cambodia 2024 in a glittering national competition held on Thursday, August 29 in Phnom Penh. The 33-year-old model, actress, and philanthropist succeeds last year's winner John Sotima, and will now prepare to represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. No stranger to pageantry, she previously joined the Universal Woman 2024 pageant last March and finished as third runner-up. Raegan Rutty was crowned Miss Univere Cayman Island 2024 on Saturday, August 31 at The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa. The 22-year-old first Caymanian Olympic gymnast from East End will represent the Cayman Islands at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Arin Broderick and Brianna Wilson were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. A total of six contestants were selected to take part in this year's Miss Universe Cayman Islands. Maria Vicinska bested 14 other finalists to be crowned Miss Universe Latvia 2024 on Thursday, August 29 at the Digital Art House in Riga. The 26-year-old model will now prepare to represent Latvia at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November. Anastasija Aleksejevska and Zinaida Tesliuk were named the first and second runners-up, respectively. "I have so many emotions. Yesterday was a day I will never forget. Miss Taraba, Chidimma Adetshina, was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, August 31 at Eko Hotels & Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos. The 23-year-old beauty from Gauteng, South Africa, bested 24 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Nigeria at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. Paula Ezendu of Anambra State was the first runner-up and received the Miss Supranational Nigeria 2024 title. She will head to Poland to participate in Miss Supranational 2025 next summer. The second runner-up, Peace Ayegbidun of Ondo, was named Miss Lush 2024 while the representatives of Rivers, Nyekachi Douglas, and Edo, Edeifo Aikhuele rounded out the Top 5 finalists.
