New crown for Miss World Philippines 2024 unveiled

The winner of the upcoming Miss World Philippines 2024 pageant will wear a brand new crown called "Rays of Hope" by Oro China Jewelry.

Designed and handcrafted by talented Filipino jewel artisans, this crown according to the pageant's official jeweler depicts rays of light, signifying hope and new beginnings. It is a masterpiece that embodies elegance and symbolism.

Encrusted with almost 400 blue sapphires and nearly 300 freshwater pearls, the crown represents luck, loyalty, happiness, and love, as well as purity, harmony, and humility.

Each element of the crown echoes the qualities of the queen who wears it, a woman who shines brightly and inspires humanity with her positivity and purpose.

A testament to resilience and purity, each luminous pearl represents the inner strength that shines through adversity. The majestic blue sapphires, like beams of hope piercing through darkness, symbolize courage and steadfast determination.

The highly anticipated grand coronation night of this year's Miss World Philippines will be held this Friday, July 19 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Gwendolyne Fourniol of Negros Occidental will crown her successor who will represent the Philippines at the 72nd Miss World competition next year.
