Reigning Miss International Andrea Rubio arrives in the Philippines for Binibining Pilipinas 2024


Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio touched down in the Philippines on Wednesday, July 3 as an invited guest of the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2024 pageant.

The beauty queen from Venezuela will be gracing the 60th edition's grand coronation night this Sunday, July 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

Andrea will stay at Novotel Manila Araneta City throughout her official visit to the country. She was warmly welcomed at the hotel by members of the media and some Filipina beauty queens.

Present during her arrival were Miss International 2013 Bea Santiago, reigning Miss International Philippines Angelica Lopez, and Miss International 2023 third runner-up Nicole Borromeo.

Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery. The 23-year-old model and mental health advocate from Atmore, Alabama is now expected to represent her home state at the National American Miss 2024 competition later this year. Miss International Queen 2024 is Catalina Marsano from Peru

Peru's Catalina Marsano was crowned Miss International Queen 2024 on Saturday, August 24 at the Tiffany's Show Theater in Pattaya, Thailand. The 32-year-old trans model beat more than 20 other competitors to win the competition. She succeeds last year's winner Solange Dekker from the Netherlands. Catalina made history as the first-ever Peruvian to win the prestigious Thailand-based international pageant for transgender women. Saruda Panyakham of Thailand was named first runner-up while Nguyen Tuong San of Vietnam finished as the second runner-up. The United Arab Emirates is all set to debut at the Miss Earth pageant with the newly crowned Miss Middle East 2024 (Miss Earth United Arab Emirates 2024). Miss Ecuador 2024 is Eunice Rivadeneira from Guayaquil

Eunice Rivadeneira was crowned Miss Ecuador 2024 on Saturday, August 17 at the Salinas Golf & Tennis Club in the beautiful coastal city of Salinas. The 24-year-old architect from Guayaquil beat 20 other contestants to win the national pageant. She is now expected to represent Ecuador at Miss International 2025. Galia Garcia was named first runner-up while Dagmar Prieto, Romina Murillo, Melany Padilla, and Isabella Sotomayor were the second, third, fourth, and fifth runners-up, respectively. Miss Universe 2024, the much-awaited 73rd Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 16 at the Arena CDMC in Mexico City. The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) made the official announcement on Friday, August 23 on its official social media accounts. MUO posted, "History is about to be rewritten The moment we've all been waiting for is just around the corner. Are you ready to witness the most unforgettable night of a lifetime?" Officially opened in 2012 in Azcapotzalco, Mexico City, the Arena CDMX (Mexico City Arena) has a maximum capacity of 22,300 spectators. The indoor arena hosts concerts, sports, and other events.
