Miss Universe Kenya 2024 is Irene Ng'endo


After a 2-year hiatus, Kenya is set to return to the Miss Universe stage with Irene Ng'endo Mukii who was crowned Miss Universe Kenya 2024 on Friday, August 16 at the Argyle Grand Hotel in Nairobi.

The 26-year-old software engineer beat 15 other finalists to win the national title. She will represent Kenya at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.

Mercy Jerotich and Stacy Sang were named the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Reigning Miss Universe from Nicaragua, Sheynnis Palacios, was a special guest at the glittering event.

The new Miss Universe Kenya is also a philanthropist and fitness enthusiast. She founded The Mansion Dance Studio, which offers ballet and general dance classes to kids and young adults.

No stranger to pageantry, Irene is a former Miss Grand Kenya. She competed in Miss Grand International 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand where she placed in the Top 20.

Kenya has yet to win the Miss Universe crown since its debut at the pageant in 1987. The country's highest placement was in 2016 when Mary Esther Were made the Top 6.

Miss Universe Australia 2024 is Zoe Creed from Brisbane

Creed was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2024 in a national competition held on Thursday, September 5 at the grand ballroom of the Crown Perth in Burswood. The 23-year-old model from Brisbane edged out 27 other competitors to win the title. She is the first national winner from Queensland since Jesinta Campbell in 2010. Laetitia Greco and Renèe Mourad were named the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Bronte Rose Dagg and Jennifer Crown were the rest of the Top 5 finalists. The Top 10 were Sarah Said-Smith, Jess Davis, Alana Deutsher-Moore, Ally Draper, and Tahlia Jones. Miss Universe Mexico 2024 is María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa

María Fernanda Beltrán Figueroa of Sinaloa was crowned Miss Universe Mexico 2024 in a national competition held on Saturday, September 7 at the Cancun Convention Center. The 24-year-old model and entrepreneur from Culiacán bested over 30 other contestants to win the national title. She will represent Mexico at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico City this November. Aranza Molina of Tabasco and Karen Bustos of San Luis Potosí were the first and second runners-up, respectively, while Mariana Macías of Michoacán and Lorena Sevilla of Colima rounded out the Top 5 finalists. Miss San Miguel, Florence García, was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2024 on Saturday, September 7 at the Teatro Presidente in San Salvador. The 25-year-old Salvadoran-American model and presenter bested 13 other finalists to win the national title. She will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. The 31-year-old lawyer and talented singer living in Yerevan will represent Armenia at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November. New show format for Miss Universe 2024, important details announced

The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) held a press conference on September 4 in Mexico to announce important details of the upcoming 73rd Miss Universe pageant. This year's historic edition, to be held at Arena CDMX in Mexico City on November 16, will introduce a new show format. From around 130 contestants, only 30 will be announced as semifinalists, followed by the Top 12, Top 5, and the winner. The Top 30 will include four continental queens and one fan vote winner. The contestants are expected to arrive in Mexico during the last week of October and will be staying at their luxurious official residence, the Presidente InterContinental. They also will be touring various destinations around the country as part of their hectic schedule of events and activities.
