Miss Universe Panama 2024 is Italy Mora


Italy Johan Mora was crowned Miss Universe Panama 2024 during the national competition held on Saturday, August 3 at the Amador Convention Center in Panama City.

The 19-year-old model representing Riviera del Canal won the title in her second attempt at joining the pageant. She only made the Top 7 during last year's competition.

Lilian Ashby of Panama Centro was named first runner-up while Mirna Caballini of Chiriqui, Brigthey Estrella Castillo of Veraguas, and Shahani Guardia de Isla Grande were the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The new Miss Universe Panama received her crown from the reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua who was a special guest at the event.

Italy is passionate about sports, especially football and boxing, and is described as a visionary, fighter woman who professes immense love for her homeland, traditions, and customs.

She will now prepare to represent Panama at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico this November.

Here's where to watch Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition

The Miss Universe 2024 preliminary competition and national costume show will take place tonight at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. Contestants from 127 countries and territories will each present themselves in their swimsuits, evening gowns, and national costumes. Tonight's show, to be hosted by reigning Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios and former Miss Universe R'Bonney Gabriel, will start at 8 p.m. local time. The crucial event will help the  selection committee determine who will advance to the Top 30 to be announced during this Sunday's final show. After weeks of pre-pageant activities and events, the 24th edition of the annual Miss Earth pageant will culminate tonight at Okada Manila in the Philippines. Drita Ziri from Albania and her elemental court are set to crown their successors among 76 contestants from around the planet at tonight's final competition. The show will be hosted by Filipino actor and host Robi Domingo and will stream live on local channels and Miss Earth's official social media and streaming platforms. Australia's Jessica Lane crowned Miss Earth 2024

Jessica Lane from Australia was crowned Miss Earth 2024 in a grand coronation show on Saturday, November 9 at Okada Manila in the Philippines. The 21-year-old activist and journalist beat over 70 other contestants to win the international pageant. She made history as the first Australian woman to become Miss Earth. Hrafnhildur Haraldsdóttir of Iceland, Bea Millan-Windorski of the USA, and Niva Antezana of Peru were crowned Miss Earth Air, Miss Earth Water, and Miss Earth Fire 2024, respectively.
