Miss Universe Italy 2024 is Glelany Cavalcante


Glelany Cavalcante was crowned Miss Universe Italy 2024 during the national competition held on September 18 at Villa Cafiero in San Fernando di Puglia.

The 30-year-old model and entrepreneur originally from Brazil bested 20 other contestants to win the title. She became the first Brazilian and married woman to become Miss Universe Italy.

Giada Folcia and Marika Nardozi were named the first and second runners-up while Rachele Perelli and Catalina Jacob rounded out the Top 5 finalists.

Completing the Top 10 were Carlotta Maggiorana, Federica Ligato, Angela Etiope, Veronica Siniscalchi, and Carolina Trombatore.

The new Miss Universe Italy succeeds last year's winner Carmen Panepinto and will now prepare to represent Italy at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant in Mexico this November.

Miss Universe Philippines 2025, the 6th edition of the annual Miss Universe Philippines pageant will be held this May at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Sixty-nine contestants representing various municipalities, cities, and provinces of the Philippines will compete for a chance to represent the country at Miss Universe 2025 in Thailand this November. Miss Southern Plains, Diane Westhoven was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2024 during the state final on Saturday, June 1 at Auburn University's Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center. The 21-year-old student from Birmingham will now prepare to represent Alabama at Miss USA 2024 this summer in Hollywood, California. Stephany Abasali, a 24-year-old economics student representing Anzoátegui, bested 22 other contestants to be crowned Miss Universe Venezuela 2024. Plus-sized beauty Sara Milliken was crowned the National American Miss Alabama 2024 during the state final held on May 27 at the Renaissance Marriot in Montgomery.
